However, no internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security against all possible threats. By using this Service, you acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of storing data online. For maximum safety, do not input highly sensitive information (passwords, financial credentials, trade secrets, medical records) into any AI service.
Welcome to LM Council! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LM Council web application, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through it (the "Service"). The Service is provided by the solo developer of LM Council (the "Developer").
Please read these Terms carefully. By creating an account or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
LM Council is a web application that allows users to interact with multiple third-party AI language models simultaneously. Users can add models to a "council," send prompts, upload files (images, PDFs), generate images, and save configurations and conversations.
The Service is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. This Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Account Creation: You must create an account to access the Service, providing accurate information as prompted. We offer account creation via email/password and third-party providers like Google, GitHub, and Twitter.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account and for keeping your password confidential and secure. You agree to notify the Developer immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the text, files, images, and other content you submit to the Service ("User Content").
License to Us: By providing User Content to the Service, you grant the Developer a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. This includes, but is not limited to:
Responsibility for Content: You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to submit any content that is illegal, defamatory, infringing on intellectual property rights, or otherwise harmful. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.
Sensitive Information Warning: You expressly agree NOT to input sensitive personal, financial, medical, legal, or confidential business information into the Service. This includes but is not limited to: passwords, financial account numbers, social security numbers, health records, trade secrets, or any information that could cause substantial harm if disclosed. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for any harm resulting from your decision to input such information, and the Developer shall have no liability for the disclosure of information you were warned not to submit.
You agree not to use the Service to:
The core functionality of the Service relies on APIs from various third-party AI model providers. Your use of the Service constitutes your acknowledgment that your User Content (prompts and conversation history) will be processed by these third parties. Your interactions with them may be subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. The Developer is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of these third-party services.
The Service uses a credit system to manage usage. You are granted a certain number of credits per billing cycle as detailed in your account.
The Developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms.
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
The Developer does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. The responses generated by the AI models are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or reliable. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will the Developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content; or (d) any security breach, data loss, or system failure.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that you assume all risk for any damage to your computer system or mobile device, loss of data, or any other harm that results from your use of the Service. The Developer's aggregate liability to all users for any and all claims arising from or related to the Service, including but not limited to any security breach, data loss, service interruption, or system failure, shall not exceed £1,000 in total, regardless of the number of users affected or the nature of the claims.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity; or (e) any security breach or unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials. This indemnification obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the Service.
The Developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes. By continuing to use the Service after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. You waive any objection to venue or jurisdiction in these courts.
